Fibre of My Being was created for all those knitters, crocheters, menders, sewists and lovers of needlepoint fibre crafts.

This is a place where ideas, inspiration and new projects begin. Whether it be knitting up a new jumper, crocheting a cute toy, mending your favourite pair of jeans, slow stitching that gorgeous sashiko design OR all of the above and more. Then this is the place for you!

Fibre of My Being is a place to visit where useful items can be made from ideas and a little bit of fibre. In a fast paced world, where fast fashion and a throw away society is king, Fibre of My Being is a place to go when you want to slow down and create items that last! And then, when that cherished item finally wears out or becomes damaged, it can be repaired with your own flair!

Our vision also extends to recognising the mental health benefits of knitting and fibre crafts. Immersion in a new project is a great way to instil a sense of calm and reduce anxiety, while at the same time, the act of finally completing a project provides a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

Fibre of My Being is a small family business that operates out of the southern suburbs of Adelaide. Some of the products that are sold here are carefully designed and meticulously handmade at Fibre of My Being. Other products have been thoughtfully selected to provide a range of fibre craft options to suit various needs.

Looking into the future, we hope to expand our range to bring more craft goodies to our customers. We are also open to hearing your ideas of what you would like to see in our shop.
