Sock Yarn Giveaway Results
On Tuesday the Fibre of My Being hand dyed sock yarn giveaway came to an end. The giveaway ran from the 2nd to 12th of November and asked sock knitting lovers to show a knitted pair of socks (or knitted or crochet garment for those who had never made socks before) to enter to win Fibre of My Being hand dyed 100g skein of Serene Sea sock yarn and 20g mini skein of Smoke sock yarn.
There were many delightfully knitted entries, making it so very tricky to pick a winner! If you haven’t seen the entries check them out on Instagram at the hashtag #fibreofmybeingsocks and on Facebook in the sock giveaway post comments section (pictures and links at end of blog).
The winning entry went to @mermade_withlove with her gorgeously crochet sock remembering someone who helped her read as a child, while also paying homage to the wonderful children’s story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. You can see her gorgeous sock below.
Thank you to everyone who entered! It was such a treat to see all the entries that came through, and brings such joy to give. Will definitely do it again sometime soon.
In the meantime, I am back in the dye kitchen this week to restock sock yarn colours, as well as bring a couple of new colours… so watch this space.
